This is you
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or related position, in a Microsoft SQL Server environment
- Very good knowledge of SQL Server, including query optimization and data warehouse design
- Practical experience in building and maintaining ETL processes using SSIS
- Experience in designing and maintaining OLAP cubes in SSAS, including knowledge of MDX language
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Self-motivated, accurate and proactive in solving technical problems
- Ability to work in a team and communicate
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience in optimizing SQL routines for performance
- Experience integrating data from Hyperion Financial Management class systems
This is your role
- Development and optimization of more than 20 databases - structure design, advanced queries, stored procedures with emphasis on performance and data integrity
- Performance optimization of existing solutions
- Management and development of more than 400 ETL packages - integration of financial data and from external sources. SSAS OLAP:
- Development and maintenance of more than a dozen analytical cubes - aggregation design, partitioning, implementation of business logic in MDX
- Creation of new KPIs
- Creation and updating of technical documentation of implemented solutions.Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
