We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a strategic project for an important client in the banking sector.

Our client, a major player in the European banking industry, is implementing an advanced Fraud AI platform to enhance fraud detection across the entire customer journey—from account opening to payment processing. This new solution leverages AI/ML-driven data analysis and real-time alerting to identify anomalies efficiently and proactively.

The initial focus will be on the Digital Account Opening process, with the goal of scaling to broader fraud prevention scenarios. The project includes the implementation of the Fraud AI tool and the development of all associated project and operational documentation.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis in complex IT environments.
• Solid background in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of banking systems, preferably with experience in fraud or AML (Anti-Money Laundering) monitoring.
• Experience with Actimize, including AIS and RCM modules.
• Strong knowledge of databases, data acquisition, and Big Data technologies (Hadoop preferred).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments (e.g., Scrum).
• Familiarity with testing processes, including test planning, execution, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

This is your role

• Analyze data models and functional mappings in the fraud prevention environment
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  
• Design simulation environments based on Big Data (Hadoop).
• Create and maintain detailed project documentation and risk models.
• Analyze and specify ETL processes and data standardization routines.
• Execute module and system integration tests; document and report outcomes.
• Lead functional error analysis and support resolution.
• Participate in the creation and execution of test strategies, concepts, and test cases.
• Manage error tracking and testing documentation throughout the project.
• Support rollout planning, production deployment, and post-go-live activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality and documentation standards (e.g., client requirements).
