This is the job

We are proactively seeking a Database Engineer to strengthen our team in Prague for projects in the Banking and Telco industries. This position is mostly suitable for Czech republic citizens, who speak Czech/Slovak on a native language in combination with English on an advanced level. Work is hybrid, on site is required 2-3 times per week.

This is you

  • We prefer at least 3 years of experience with the development and management of relational database solutions (Oracle, PostgreSQL etc)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, PostgreSQL
  • Work with PL/SQL or Oracle SQL
  • Knowledge of Power Designer for model development and management
  • Experience in Banking would be an advantage
  • Experience with agile methodologies

This is your role

  • Design and implementation of relational models for Oracle/PostgreSQL databases
  • Migration of Oracle vs PostgreSQL procedures and data
  • Data analysis and design of technical implementation according to business specifications
  • Development and optimization of queries
  • Refactoring of existing database solutions (modification of procedures, functions, jobs)
  • Management of technical documentation and data model
