We are looking for Senior Java Engineer to join our team. The client is a prominent software company that specializes in IT asset management, software licensing, and cybersecurity solutions.

As a Senior Java Engineer, you will be working together with an international team of top developers. You will also take part in setting standards, establishing guidelines and sharing best practices in order to ensure continuous learning and development.

This is you

  • 6+ years experience with Java
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native environments: AWS/Azure, Kubernetes
  • Experience with Apache Spark
  • Working experience with scalable, microservices-based systems
  • Strong fundamental software engineering skills (design patterns, algorithms, data structures)
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives and make architecture-level decisions

This is your role

  • Integrate with various system components including MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and AWS services
  • Troubleshoot and optimize complex distributed systems, including maintaining and tuning legacy Apache Spark pipelines
  • Lead the design and development of scalable, highly available microservices and APIs using Java and Kubernetes
  • Make key technical decisions by balancing scalability, redundancy, and cost-effectiveness
  • Mentor mid-level and junior developers and work closely with cross-functional teams such as DevOps and Frontend
  • Work with stakeholders to convert business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through well-considered architectural design
  • Perform code reviews and contribute directly to development when necessary
  • Assess and suggest cloud technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with business objectives
