At Avenga, the Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging business and technology throughout the software development lifecycle. From initial concept to final delivery, they are essential to ensuring that every solution meets real business needs.

We are currently looking for Business Analyst to join our banking project in Bratislava. Previous experience in business analysis and strong knowledge of banking products with processes are preffered.

This is you

• Take responsibility for gathering, analyzing and prioritizing requirements 
• Have previous experience with Business Analyst role in the banking environment (or alternatively insurance)
• Bringing previous experience with market research
• Organize and lead meetings with stakeholders should be your second nature
• Engage in daily communication with Stakeholders and the development team
• Presenting your solution to the client will be an necessary part of this role
• Manage change management throughout the project
• Create and update analytical documentation is expected
• Provide the support during creating tests and testing will be included

This is your role

• Skillfully formulate and analyse both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Prepare analyses and propose new or modify existing products, channels, and tools, including sales and service processes, methodologies, and procedures in line with market developments and the bank’s strategy.
• Demonstrate expertise in process modelling and creating Use Cases, showcasing proficiency in UML/BPMN.
• Design, test, and implement changes and requirements for assigned products, channels, or tools to maximize profitability and enhance customer experience.
• Manage product strategy, evaluate performance, and identify new opportunities in collaboration with individual sales channels.
• Experienced use of any diagramming tools, such as EA, draw.io, and others
• Advocate for the proposed solution and cultivate a collaborative relationship with the client.
• Working with JIRA and Confluence tools.
• Exhibit proficiency in Czech or Slovak and English at a communicative level.
