This is you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or DevOps-focused QA/QC roles.
• Deep understanding of QC & QA measures, methodologies and principles such as the definition and implementation of test strategies and processes for different testing levels (e.g. unit-, integration, system testing) and testing purposes (e.g. functional-, non-functional-, regression testing ), alongside the development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks in a DevOps environment, specifically in the area of Perl and Python. The ability to establish and maintain automated test suites is essential.
• Knowledge of Security Testing Practices and familiarity with SAST (Static Application Security Testing) and OSS/OSVM (Open Source Vulnerability Scan) tools and methodologies are required to integrate security checks into the QA process. Understanding of vulnerability management and mitigation is required, too.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills to analyze software requirements, identify potential defects, and develop effective testing strategies is essential. Strong troubleshooting skills to investigate issues and find root causes.
• Experience with creating and tracking metrics to define, implement, and monitor a Software Quality Index (SQI), including setting targets, and analyzing trends.
• Strong scripting/programming skills in Python and/or Perl.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and how to integrate automated tests into a CI/CD pipeline and utilize build tools.
• Familiarity with Git (e.g. understanding of branching strategies), GitOps practices and managing declarative infrastructure via version control.
• Basic understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Basic understanding of Linux systems, networking, containers, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills to effectively communicate test results, collaborate with developers to resolve defects, and promote a quality-focused culture within the team
