As a Business Development Director – BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) (f/m/x) in Germany, you are a strategic dealmaker—driven by the ambition to win new clients and grow long-term partnerships in banking, financial services, and insurance.
You thrive in complex sales environments: identifying opportunity, navigating decision networks, and shaping transformation agendas that stick.
With deep industry know-how, a strong personal network, and sharp insights into BFSI trends, you connect the dots between business goals and digital capabilities.
You work closely with Consulting, Pre-Sales, and Delivery to shape tailored solutions around cloud, core platform modernization, data/AI, cybersecurity, or regulatory resilience.
You’re confident in selling complex digital services—from managed services to multi-year transformation programs. You translate technology into business value and position Avenga as a trusted partner in a highly regulated, rapidly evolving market.
This is you
- You bring a strong, active network in Germany’s BFSI landscape—across universal banks, insurers, Sparkassen, or fintechs.
- You have several years of experience in sales or business development in IT services or BFSI.
- You know how to position digital services like core/platform modernization, cloud transformation, and AI/data solutions.
- You communicate with confidence and empathy—both in German and English.
- You’re self-driven, strategic, and comfortable leading complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- You understand compliance, risk, and governance standards—and speak the language of CxOs.
- You’re familiar with nearshore and hybrid delivery models and can clearly articulate their benefits.
This is your role
- You will drive new business development in Germany’s BFSI market by opening strategic accounts and winning high-value deals.
- You will own the full sales cycle—from first contact to contract closure—in close collaboration with consulting, pre-sales, and delivery teams.
- You will independently manage and expand your client portfolio using Avenga’s full range of digital services.
- You will lead account-based strategies, contribute to lead generation campaigns, and build compelling proposals for tenders and strategic bids.
- You will act as a sparring partner to clients—co-creating roadmaps for transformation, compliance, and digital resilience.
