This is you

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance

-Strong experience in preparing financial statements and performing financial analysis

-Solid knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements

-Experience with tax compliance and interaction with auditors and regulatory authorities

-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall MS Office skills

-Proven ability to manage, mentor, and train accounting staff

-Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage

-Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset

-Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and professional integrity

-Flexible, resilient, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

This is your role

-Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, fixed assets, treasury, and cash management

-Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS (standalone and consolidated)

-Manage balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance

-Prepare statutory accounts and support external and internal audit processes, including resolution of audit findings

-Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and filing of corporate, state, and local tax returns

-Monitor changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the business

-Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

-Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis

-Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and revenue/expenditure projections for senior management

-Contribute to the improvement of accounting systems, processes, and controls

-Guide, mentor, and support junior and intermediate accounting staff

-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, banks, and legal advisors

-Support business objectives through strong financial governance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement
