Are you a seasoned engineer with a natural talent for leadership? We are looking for a Java Technical Lead to take ownership of our ICS core components. In this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be the architectural anchor for a backend team of senior developers, ensuring that our solutions are secure, scalable, and compliant with the highest industry standards. If you enjoy bridging the gap between high-level architecture and hands-on production stabilization, you're the one we're seeking.

You have extensive experience in SW development and design at a lead or senior level.
Java Mastery: You are an expert in Java 17 (ideally 21) and have a deep understanding of the JVM.
Spring Specialist: You have hands-on experience with Spring Boot 3.x, including REST API design, Actuator, and complex exception handling.
Architectural Mindset: You are comfortable with modular monoliths and understand the importance of idempotency, retries, and a clear separation of concerns.
Security First: You have a strong grasp of mTLS (certificates, keystore/truststore) and OWASP security principles.
Integration Expert: You are proficient in both REST and SOAP, with specific experience in XML processing (JAXB, XSD).
Operational Pro: You have experience with production troubleshooting and monitoring (Nagios-compatible endpoints).
Communicator: You can effectively coordinate with DevOps, Data teams, and external technical stakeholders (OPAP).

This is your role
Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a backend team of two Senior Developers.
Architectural Ownership: Take responsibility for the backend architecture of ICS core components and API design.
Quality & Compliance: Be accountable for technical quality, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
Cross-team Coordination: Collaborate with DevOps on HA/DR and infrastructure, and sync with Data/Integration teams.
End-to-End Support: Provide technical guidance during UAT, Go-Live, and certification phases.
Tech Stack: Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, MS SQL, SOAP/REST, Docker, Maven, and Git.
