We are looking for a Senior Security & Network Engineer to strengthen our infrastructure and application security posture. In this role, you will design, implement, and continuously improve security standards across Linux systems, containers, Kubernetes environments, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will take ownership of vulnerability management, lead penetration testing activities, and play a key role in incident response and security audits. This is a hands-on technical role with high impact across engineering and operations teams.

This is you

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Linux system administration and hardening

• SELinux/AppArmor policy design and implementation

• Kernel hardening, secure boot, and system update strategies

• Advanced auditd configuration, integrity monitoring (AIDE, OSSEC)

• Automation using Bash and Python

• Secure configuration of server applications (Apache/Nginx, OpenSSH, databases)

• Scripting and Working with Code

• Git at an advanced level (CI/CD integration, code review, branching workflows)

• Build processes – recompilation with patched libraries, backporting security fixes, creating custom packages/containers

• SBOM analysis and dependency auditing

• Deep understanding of the network stack (L3–L7)

• Network segmentation and zero-trust architecture

• TLS/mTLS, PKI, and certificate management

• Firewall configuration and management (iptables/nftables, network firewalls)

• Container image security (attack surface minimization, rootless containers, image signing)

• Runtime security and anomaly detection

• Container registry security and vulnerability scanning

• Isolation mechanisms (namespaces, cgroups, seccomp, capabilities)

• Kubernetes

• Experience with SIEM/SOC tools

• OIDC/SAML implementations

• Service Mesh

• GitOps approaches

• Certifications (RHCE, CEH)

• Experience with AI tools for security automation

This is your role

• Design and implement hardening standards for Linux systems and containers

• Implement PAM/PIM solutions and privileged access management

• Integrate SAST/DAST/SBOM into CI/CD pipelines

• Lead the vulnerability management process

• Perform penetration testing of infrastructure and applications

• Incident response and security audits

• The basic salary component from 1700 Eur gross per month - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
