We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer to join a leading BaaS provider in the UK, underpinned by innovative technology. You will be a part of the high performing team that’s always on the look out for exceptional people. We encourage an inclusive and diverse working environment, where teamwork, input and collaboration is valued no matter your level. The job involves attending office in Warsaw 2 times a week.
This is you
5+ years of experience with Golang.
Strong experience of working with microservices.
An understanding of Kubernetes / Docker.
Excellent understanding of AWS (deployment / configuration).
Experience working on a highly secure application.
Success delivering within an agile environment.
Ability to act as a subject matter expert and communicate with clarity and empathy to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Understanding how to translate business objectives into data driven insight.
English level - B2 and higher.
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience working with PHP.
Slim Framework or similar.
An understanding of Workflow Engines.
Experience with E-commerce platforms.
This is your role
Develop clean, elegant, and reusable code that is well-tested and easy to maintain and extend.
Work with stakeholders across the business to drive the direction of engineering and put the long-term interests of customers at the heart of key decisions.
Collaborate across our backend chapter to uphold standards and best practices, and to promote innovation.
Work collaboratively with the team to resolve technical issues.
Support and oversee junior engineers and act as a subject matter expert.
