Avenga's AdTech practice helps companies navigate one of the most complex and fast-moving technology landscapes in digital business. We work with publishers, retailers, fintechs, and media businesses to define their advertising technology vision and build it.
We're looking for a senior consultant who understands the AdTech ecosystem deeply enough to challenge a client's assumptions, frame the right problem, and shape a credible path forward right before a single line of code is written.
This is not a campaign management or media buying role. It's a strategic advisory position sitting at the intersection of business ambition and advertising technology.
This is you
8+ years of experience in AdTech, digital advertising strategy, or related consulting with hands-on exposure to the programmatic ecosystem
Strong working knowledge of the AdTech landscape: DSP, SSP, Ad Server, CDP/DMP, programmatic fundamentals, measurement and attribution frameworks
Experience leading client-facing conversations at a strategic level, not just platform demos or technical support
Ability to translate complex AdTech concepts into clear business language for non-technical audiences
Structured thinker who is comfortable in framing ambiguous problems, defining options, and making recommendations under uncertainty
Background in one or more of: AdTech/MarTech consultancy, digital media agency strategy, AdTech product or solutions roles, or in-house advertising technology teams
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with Retail Media Networks, Commerce Media, or Payment Media monetisation
Exposure to AI-driven advertising, personalisation, or decisioning systems
Experience in a consulting or advisory firm with advertising technology clients
This is your role
Lead discovery engagements with senior client stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Technology.
Help clients articulate their advertising vision, monetization ambitions, and capability gaps, translating business goals into AdTech roadmaps and MVP scopes
Advise on strategic trade-offs across DSP / SSP / Ad Server / Retail Media / Payment Media models, walled-garden vs open ecosystem approaches, and build vs buy decisions
Shape first-party data and CDP/DMP strategies in a privacy-first landscape
Produce consulting-quality outputs, executive recommendations, MVP option frameworks, capability maps, and high-level architecture direction
Support pre-sales by shaping business-led narratives and proposals around AdTech solutions
Bridge business intent and technical delivery - working closely with AdTech architects and engineers to ensure scope and client expectations are aligned before build begins
