In Bulgaria we are looking for a Senior Performance Tester with strong analytical skills and proven experience in performance, load, and stress testing within complex enterprise environments to participate in Performance Testing Activities for a large Enterprise System. The role focuses on designing and executing scalable performance test strategies using JMeter, with additional expertise in Java for scripting and analysis.

This is you

• A results‑driven and analytically strong senior performance tester with extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing performance, load, and stress tests within complex IT environments.

• Specialized in Apache JMeter, complemented by expertise in Java, enabling both effective test automation and in‑depth analysis of performance issues.

• Experience with performance testing on OpenShift is essential.

• Has proven experience working within large, data‑driven organizations such as the Dutch Tax Authority or similar government or enterprise environments.

• Familiar with the stringent requirements around stability, security, compliance, and scalability that apply within such organizations.

• Works in a structured and precise way and communicates clearly with both technical teams and stakeholders.

• A proactive tester who recognizes patterns and identifies issues before they impact the production environment. Combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach and thrives in organizations where reliability and quality are central

This is your role

• Setting up and maintaining performance test frameworks (including JMeter, Jenkins, Tekton).

• Knowledge and experience with performance testing in an OpenShift environment.

• Experience setting up a performance testing pipeline on OpenShift in a complex environment.

• Experience with chaos testing is a plus.

• Writing custom JMeter scripts using Groovy, Bash, and Beanshell.

• Analyzing bottlenecks at the application, database, and infrastructure level.

• Interpreting monitoring data (Grafana, Splunk).

• Working within Agile/Scrum teams and CI/CD environments.

• Knowledge and experience with relational databases (Db2 and PostgreSQL).

• Knowledge and experience with application servers (OpenLiberty, Quarkus) is a plus.
