You join Avenga at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation. As we evolve our pre-sales capability from a traditional bid support model into a modern, consultative solutioning function, this role sits at the center of that shift.
This is a newly created position where you will work closely with the Solutions Director to help build and drive a structured opportunity engine that transforms incoming commercial opportunities into compelling, winning solutions.
As a Pre-sales Consultant (f/m/x), you manage multiple opportunities in parallel, ranging from standardized proposals to highly customized solutions. You collaborate across Technology, Service Lines, Delivery, and Commercial teams in a global setup.
In the short term, the role is focused on bid management and proposal development. Over time, it will evolve into a more client-facing, consultative position, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients.
This is you
2–5 years of experience in consulting, pre-sales, solutions, or a comparable commercial or technical environment
A consultative mindset: you ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and connect client needs to meaningful solutions
Strong commercial understanding of how technology engagements are scoped, priced, and sold
Ability to translate complex technology and AI-driven topics into clear, structured, and persuasive narratives
Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a structured, deadline-driven environment
Strong coordination skills combined with a reliable and organized way of working
Proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving
Strong communication skills in English (fluent) and German (minimum C1 level)
Nice to have
Background in a consulting firm or technology services company
Exposure to enterprise clients and an understanding of how large organisations buy technology services
Experience working across multiple industries, no specific sector specialism required
This is your role
Drive the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity intake through qualification to proposal creation and client-ready presentation
Shape, scope, and respond to commercial opportunities in a structured, gated process
Translate complex technology solutions into clear, compelling client narratives
Bring together cross-functional teams across Technology, Service Lines, Delivery, and Commercial
Manage multiple opportunities in parallel, balancing priorities, timelines, and quality
Contribute to building and refining processes, structures, and ways of working within the solutioning function
Develop a strong understanding of Avenga’s capabilities to position solutions effectively
Identify risks early and proactively drive resolution
Contribute to deal success, win rates, and overall proposal quality
Gradually grow into a more client-facing role, supporting consultative engagements with enterprise clients
