In Buenos Aires within the Enterprise Software Development domain, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to building scalable microservices-based applications. You'll be developing robust backend solutions using the Spring ecosystem, working across the full application lifecycle from concept to production support.

This position requires going to the client's offices in Buenos Aires City once a week.

This is you

• 3–4 years of experience in backend development with Java (17+) and Spring Boot.

• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.

• Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).

• Familiarity with AWS and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Strong ownership mindset and autonomy.

• Results-driven and continuous improvement approach.

• |Interest in innovation and adopting new technologies, especially AI in software development.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.

• Experience with reactive programming (Spring WebFlux).

• Experience with API contract tools (Swagger, RAML).

• Strong focus on observability, metrics, and system performance.

This is your role

• Design and develop robust microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.

• Ensure technical excellence by applying best practices and design patterns such as Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, and MVC.

• Work on API integrations (REST), asynchronous processes, and event-driven architectures (Queues / MQ).

• Deploy and operate services in a Cloud environment (AWS) using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Ensure end-to-end quality by writing unit, integration, and functional tests.

• Promote a culture of innovation, leveraging AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and others to optimize development workflows.

• Contribute to technical documentation and proactively identify risks or blockers.
