This is the job

We are looking for a junior to intermediate Financial Controller with hands-on experience in reporting, financial analysis, and accounting fundamentals to join our internal Business finance team in Prague. You can look forward to working in our internal finance team, collaborating with the accounting department and supporting activities under the guidance of both local and global Finance Business Partner.


This is you

• Knowledge of financial reporting, basic accounting and analysis

• Good knowledge of excel to work effectively with data

• Fluent English (written and oral) and Czech/Slovak

• Experience with controlling (ideally 1-2 years or more), or adequate experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)

• A degree in economics or an adequate level of experience

• Personal qualities such as independence, diligence, proactivity, sense of accuracy and working with numbers, flexibility (especially with regards to closing deadlines)

Nice-to-have skills:

• Knowledge of Power BI (or Power Query) would be an advantage

• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) accounting system, it will make it easier for you to get started with us

This is your role

• Participation in the monthly and annual YE closing including review of revenues, costs and timesheet allocations, completeness and accuracy checks

• Monitoring and evaluating financial indicators, revenue/expenses, evaluation of profitability

• Cooperation with the accounting department, suppliers, business units’ representatives, auditors

• Creation of recurring and ad hoc reports and analysis such as cashflow, revenue forecast, headcount statistics etc.

• Cooperation on sub-tasks with the support of a senior financial controller

• Overseeing financial operations, preparing and processing financial documents according to the assigned responsibilities in the team

• Support with preparation and adherence to budgets and financial statements
