We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer (with Python experience) to join a cross-functional team responsible for building and maintaining internal platforms and integrations that support core business operations.

You will work on high-availability systems, customer-facing communication tools, and integrations with third-party platforms. The role combines backend development, system reliability, and close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams in a modern cloud environment.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in backend development

• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot)

• Hands-on experience with Python (Python 3; FastAPI is a plus)

• Experience with REST APIs, SQL databases, and backend system design

• Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures

• Familiarity with AWS (S3, RDS, Lambda) and cloud environments

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana or DataDog

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools

• Strong communication skills and ability to participate in requirements analysis and discovery

• Ability to create clear and structured technical documentation and user stories

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in fintech or financial systems

• Experience with Zendesk or similar platforms

• Familiarity with Airflow

This is your role

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and internal platforms

• Work on integrations with third-party systems and custom-built services

• Maintain and extend high-availability, customer-facing communication systems

• Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and service resilience

• Collaborate closely with Product, Platform, and Frontend teams

• Participate in system design, technical discussions, and solution definition

• Support and improve existing Python services, alongside new Java-based development

• Contribute to performance, scalability, and overall system improvements

• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting business-critical systems
