We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Java+React Engineer to join a long-term project in Bratislava focused on the migration of an internal branch application platform within the banking environment. This role requires a highly independent and flexible professional who can contribute across the full development lifecycle in a complex, enterprise setting.

This is you

• Strong experience with Java 11+ (minimum 5 years)

• Proven experience with Quarkus, React, and TypeScript

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design

• Hands-on experience with Kafka and JMS messaging systems

• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs (XML knowledge is a plus)

• Proficiency with Maven and Git

• Experience working with AWS cloud environment

• Familiarity with Keycloak or similar identity and access management tools

• Experience using modern development tools such as GitHub Copilot

• Banking domain experience is mandatory

• High level of independence, ownership, and adaptability

• You are fluent in English.

• Czech or Slovak language at an professional level is essential.

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using modern Java technologies

• Contribute to the migration and modernisation of legacy systems

• Develop backend services using J2EE 11+ and Quarkus

• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and system integrations

• Work with messaging systems such as Kafka and JMS

• Collaborate on database design and development using PostgreSQL

• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and testing

• Work with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) and security frameworks (Keycloak)

• Participate in CI/CD processes using Maven and Git

• Cooperate closely with architects, analysts, and other developers

• The basic salary component from 2500 EUR gross, the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate
