Experience with event streaming (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, API calls)
CloudEvents / JSON & AVRO expertise
Experience in schema governance & data contracts
DDD & event modeling
Building data meshes / data platforms
Application architecture design
Financial services expertise
This is your role
Closing conceptual gaps using concrete examples. A complete analysis and evaluation of all source systems is not within the scope of this engagement
Initial provisioning, continuous provisioning, and maintenance of data (in the source systems or data lake)
Handling the archiving of data in the source systems
Handling the modeling and retention of business timestamps in source systems
Development of guardrails to ensure standard compliance (e.g., naming conventions, typing, required fields, versioning)
Processing of hierarchical data structures (flattening strategies, handling of referential relationships
Handling of arrays (normalization, multidimensional arrays, array flattening)
Schema design (object/CRUD-centric, business process-centric, domain-driven design)
Creation of a schema evolution playbook (non-breaking & breaking changes, versioning, filtering, and compatibility strategies)
Design & Scope of Topics (guidelines for event design, defining scope, boundaries, and responsibilities)
Selection of appropriate data integration patterns (pattern catalog, decision tree) Deliverables
