We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for our client from Germany to join a commercial analytics initiative focused on building and modernizing data products that support business users with insights for sourcing, pricing, and performance optimization.

In this role, you will help design and deliver scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows on a modern cloud data stack, primarily using Snowflake and DBT.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in Data engineering;

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and practical experience with DBT;

• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations and performance optimization;

• Solid understanding of Kimball and/or Data Vault data modeling techniques;

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, including ETL/ELT workflows;

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS;

• Experience working with version control systems such as Git and understanding of CI/CD workflows;

• English level – Upper-intermediate and higher.

This is your role

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and transformation workflows;

• Develop and optimize data products to support commercial analytics use cases;

• Work with Snowflake and DBT to modernize and standardize the data stack;

• Implement incremental data processing patterns to improve efficiency and performance;

• Support the ongoing improvement of existing data assets in a partially greenfield environment;

• Ensure data quality through testing, validation, and monitoring practices;

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
