In your role, you'll become a vital member of a team of skilled professionals, including developers, automation testers, and DevOps engineers. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive test cases to ensure full coverage throughout the software lifecycle. Here you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to technological progress in the financial sector while advancing your skills in modern testing methodologies like Shift-Left and Shift-Right.

This is you

• Proven experience managing testing tools, specifically XRay Test Management for JIRA.

• Solid knowledge of project and defect management using JIRA.

• Experience in functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing for both mobile and web applications.

• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Basic understanding of automation concepts and tools such as Cucumber, Postman, Java, Appium, or Katalon.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Location: Residence in AMBA (mandatory).

• Availability: Hybrid work model (3 days in-person: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 2 days remote).

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience within the Banking industry.

• Knowledge of AI technologies (MCP, Agentic AI, etc.).

• Experience in Rapid Software Testing (RST) contexts.

This is your role

• Analyze functional and technical specifications to design effective test cases and scenarios.

• Execute tests to detect defects and report them accurately in JIRA/XRay, tracking them until resolution.

• Collaborate with the automation team to identify automation candidates and support the overall testing strategy.

• Work closely with Development and DevOps teams to implement Shift-Left (early detection) and Shift-Right (observability) practices.

• Participate in the review of user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure testability.

• Contribute to the training and development of junior and mid-level testers in best practices.

• Propose continuous improvements to the testing process and stay updated on new quality methodologies.
