We are currently looking for a Senior SAP MM/SD Consultant – E-Invoicing & Tax Compliance to join an international SAP transformation initiative focused on digital tax compliance and global e-invoicing mandates across the MEU and MEA regions.

In this role, you will help global organizations adapt logistics and sales processes to rapidly evolving legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance while maintaining efficient end-to-end supply chain operations.

The role combines SAP functional consulting with international compliance initiatives, requiring close collaboration between business, tax/legal stakeholders, and technical SAP teams.

This is you

• 10+ years as ABAP Consultant with at least three full-cycle implementations involving complex tax localization.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM and SD modules

• Experience with logistics and supply chain processes, including purchasing, billing, shipping, and deliveries

• Experience participating in full-cycle SAP implementations

• Understanding of VAT, e-invoicing, tax compliance, or localization-related processes

• Experience working with electronic invoicing and digital tax reporting requirements

• Familiarity with EU VAT regulations and electronic reporting standards such as KSeF or XRechnung

• Exposure to MEA e-invoicing initiatives such as ZATCA Phase 2 or UAE E-Invoicing frameworks is highly valued

• Experience working in international enterprise environments

• Professional English communication skills

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with SAP LE

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations

• Knowledge of SAP Document Compliance / eDocument Cockpit / DRC

• SAP certifications in MM, SD, or S/4HANA

• Experience collaborating with Tax or Legal departments

This is your role

• Develop and maintain complex RICEFW objects in SAP ECC to support evolving e-invoicing and tax compliance mandates

• Configure and optimize IDoc and RFC integrations between SAP ECC and the EDICOM Global E-Invoicing Platform

• Support mapping of SAP data into XML-based electronic invoicing formats required by external tax and government systems

• Ensure reliable data exchange with national tax authority platforms and e-invoicing frameworks across the MEU and MEA regions

• Participate in the implementation of UAE E-Invoicing initiatives and ongoing EU B2B e-invoicing and VAT reporting programs

• Deploy and support integrations with external government portals and local compliance systems via EDI/IDoc technologies

• Support end-to-end testing activities, including Unit, Integration, and UAT phases, ensuring compliance with legal and technical standards

• Contribute to master data and transaction data migration activities while maintaining data integrity and audit compliance
