We are currently looking for a Senior SAP Functional Consultant (MM/SD) – Global E-Invoicing to join an international SAP transformation initiative focused on digital tax compliance and global e-invoicing mandates across MEU and MEA regions.

In this role, you will support the architectural design and end-to-end implementation of localization and compliance solutions across logistics, procurement, sales, and invoicing processes. The position combines SAP functional consulting, international compliance initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration with business, tax/legal, and technical teams.

You will contribute to large-scale SAP ECC and S/4HANA transformation programs involving EDICOM integrations, government portals, VAT reporting, and country-specific e-invoicing frameworks.

This is you

• 7+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant

• Strong expertise in SAP MM and SD modules

• Experience with logistics and supply chain processes, including purchasing, billing, shipping, deliveries, and inventory management

• Experience participating in full-cycle SAP implementations and international rollout programs

• Understanding of VAT, e-invoicing, tax compliance, localization, or statutory reporting processes

• Experience translating legal or regulatory requirements into SAP functional solutions

• Familiarity with SAP ECC environments and S/4HANA transformation initiatives

• Familiarity with international e-invoicing and tax compliance frameworks across MEU and MEA regions

• Experience supporting regulatory or localization initiatives in countries such as UAE, Qatar, Oman, France, Turkey, Israel, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, or other EU/MEA jurisdictions

• Exposure to EU electronic reporting standards and VAT initiatives such as PEPPOL, KSeF, XRechnung, or ViDA is highly valued

• Professional English communication skills

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with SAP LE

• Knowledge of SAP DRC / eDocument Cockpit

• Experience working with EDICOM integrations

• Experience with EDI/IDoc integrations and external government portals

• Experience with INT4 or Tricentis Tosca testing platforms

• SAP certifications in MM, SD, or S/4HANA

• Experience collaborating with Tax or Legal departments

This is your role

• Support implementation of country-specific e-invoicing, VAT reporting, and localization mandates across MEU and MEA regions

• Configure and customize SAP MM/SD/LE processes to meet local legal and business requirements

• Participate in design workshops and translate regional compliance requirements into functional specifications

• Conduct gap analysis between global SAP templates and local regulatory needs

• Support SAP ECC integrations with EDICOM and external government portals, with future transition to S/4HANA and SAP DRC solutions

• Collaborate with business, tax/legal, and technical teams to ensure compliant end-to-end logistics and sales processes

• Support integrations with third-party logistics providers and external compliance platforms via EDI/IDoc technologies

• Participate in Unit, Integration, and UAT testing activities to ensure compliance with legal and technical standards

• Support data migration activities while maintaining data integrity and audit compliance
