In Argentina, within the Software Engineering domain, we are actively seeking a Software Engineer (Node.js BFF) to strengthen our team dedicated to building scalable, event-driven, and cloud-native applications. This is a long-term opportunity for professionals passionate about backend-for-frontend (BFF) architectures and modern distributed systems.
This is you
Strong expertise in Node.js (18+) with knowledge of the NestJS framework.
Experience with microservices and/or event-driven architectures.
Hands-on experience implementing and managing applications in a cloud platform.
Familiarity with Serverless Framework or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Knowledge of ExpressJS.
Experience with GitLab, branching models, hotfixes, and feature evolution.
Strong knowledge in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience working with NoSQL databases.
Experience setting up monitoring and alerting tools (DataDog, OpsGenie).
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge, DynamoDB).
Knowledge of TypeScript.
Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Experience with agile methodologies and software development life cycles.
Experience designing and/or developing scalable, highly available architectures.
This is your role
Understand software requirements and refine specifications into detailed designs.
Build or adapt classes, modules, and other software components, reusing existing code where possible.
Perform unit testing and review code to fix defects or improve quality.
Document programs according to standards (functional, architectural, and in-code comments).
Research new technologies, follow defined processes, and propose improvements.
Deliver across the full application lifecycle: concept, design, development, implementation, testing, and support.
Maintain production applications, fix bugs, and implement new features.
Collaborate closely with developers, TLs, and POs to meet delivery commitments.
Gather functional requirements and translate them into elegant solutions.
Build prototypes during technical scoping phases.
Optimize application performance and focus on functionality.
Create engaging user interfaces (mandatory only for fullstack profiles with ReactJS).
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
Participate in defining and reviewing standards and best practices for design and development.
