We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join a US-based client building a large-scale food ordering platform used by major restaurant chains and millions of users across the country. You will contribute to implementing large, strategic, and complex components and services, including solution design and reliability concerns
The team collaborates closely with US-based stakeholders, so some overlap with US working hours is expected (typically until around 18:00–19:00 CET).
This is you
5+ years of commercial experience in backend software engineering with strong expertise in modern C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Dapper, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL;
Strong experience building distributed systems and microservices-based applications;
Experience designing scalable APIs and services with reliability, maintainability, and versioning in mind;
Solid hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred);
Experience with containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm;
Strong understanding of messaging and asynchronous communication patterns (Kafka, AWS SQS, or similar);
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern engineering workflows (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Octopus, etc.);
Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Datadog, Grafana, Sumo Logic, or similar;
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform;
Strong troubleshooting and production support skills;
Comfortable participating in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and cross-team collaboration;
Good communication skills and ownership mindset.
This is your role
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and platform components;
Contribute to architecture, reliability, scalability, and technical design decisions;
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver balanced technical solutions;
Improve system performance, observability, and operational stability;
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives;
Own delivery quality across the full SDLC, including testing, deployments, and production support;
Participate in on-call rotation and help troubleshoot production issues when needed.
