In Argentina, within the Software Engineering domain, we are actively seeking a Senior Backend Developer – AWS Serverless (TypeScript) to join a team responsible for building and maintaining a critical platform focused on accounting and tax processes related to payments and transactions.

The main challenge is to develop and support solutions for generating accounting and tax files while ensuring scalability, reliability, and traceability across business processes. The platform is currently undergoing a major modernization initiative, migrating from an on-premises environment to a cloud-native architecture on AWS.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team composed of Backend Developers, a Tech Lead, QA Automation, and Product Managers. Together, you will contribute to technical decisions and the evolution of the platform’s architecture, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Must-have qualifications:

• Strong experience developing backend applications with TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and S3.

• Experience designing and developing Serverless architectures.

• Experience using Serverless Framework.

• Experience with automated testing using Jest.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and integration patterns.

• Experience working in Agile environments.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in financial services, accounting, taxation, or payment-related systems.

• Experience migrating applications and services to cloud environments.

• Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting in AWS.

• Experience working with high-availability and transaction-intensive systems.

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript.

• Participate in the migration of applications and services from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.

• Build and maintain serverless solutions following cloud-native best practices.

• Develop integrations and processing workflows related to accounting and tax information.

• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Create and maintain automated and unit tests.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
