We are looking for an experienced Senior Integration Tester In Prague within the Banking industry, to join our team working on mission-critical banking and financial systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and executing complex integration tests across multiple environments of core banking applications, client-facing portals, and branch systems. You will work closely with development teams in an agile environment, contributing to the full test lifecycle from requirements analysis through defect resolution.

This is your role

• Independently analyze business requirements, product documentation, and project specifications to prepare comprehensive test scenarios and design appropriate test data

• Define test input and output conditions for integration and functional test cases

• Plan, prepare, and independently execute cross-environment integration tests tailored to specific project needs

• Perform defect analysis, document findings, and collaborate with development teams on defect resolution and retesting

• Design and execute integration tests using SoapUI/ReadyAPI or Bruno, including configuration of WS-Security, assertions, properties, and data sources

• Support development teams throughout the testing cycle, providing technical testing guidance and coordinating on test-related issues

• Prepare, execute, and evaluate functional tests based on defined test scenarios (primarily black-box testing methodology)

• Independently interpret test results and generate clear reports for project teams, the testing line, and release management

• Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and standards

This is you

• Hands-on experience with SoapUI/ReadyAPI or Bruno for integration test preparation and execution

• Ability to configure WS-Security, assertions, properties, and data sources within API testing tools

• Solid experience in test case analysis and design, with a focus on black-box testing techniques

• Working knowledge of SQL (primarily Oracle SQL) sufficient for data validation, record lookup, and log analysis

• Familiarity with UML for documentation and system modeling

• Experience with JIRA and the Zephyr plugin for test management and defect tracking

• Practical experience with enterprise tooling such as Kibana and Enterprise Architect

• Understanding of Java portal solutions (bank employee/client portals), branch applications, and core banking systems

Methodology & Domain

• Good knowledge of the financial sector, particularly banking products and processes

• Experience working in agile Scrum teams

• Familiarity with both agile and waterfall software development methodologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with OOP programming — Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#

• Knowledge of test automation or performance testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, JMeter.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Rest-Assured or JEST

• Strong domain expertise in banking products, financial regulations, or core banking platforms

• Experience generating and presenting test result reports for release management or stakeholder review
