This is your role
Define how the IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) platform will handle complex global requirements, including multi-tenant or multi-region deployments, localized data residency laws (like GDPR), and diverse business units.
Lead the definition of the global Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) models.
Architect the onboarding strategy for thousands of applications. This includes defining standards for connecting authoritative sources and downstream systems using out-of-the-box connectors or custom APIs
Ensure the IAM solution maps directly to corporate risk frameworks, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) requirements, and external audit standards
Establish DevOps practices for the IAM deployment (CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, environment promotion from Dev to Prod)
Depending on which tool is chosen, focus will slightly shift. If it's SailPoint (IIQ or Identity Cloud), a lot of candidate's leadership will focus on managing heavy customization, custom rules, and complex workflows. If it's Saviynt (Enterprise Identity Cloud), condidate's focus will lean more towards configuring its robust, native analytics, built-in GRC features, and managing its cloud-native, configuration-first architecture.
