We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to join our team and help design, develop, and optimize enterprise ServiceNow solutions that support critical IT Service Management processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, developing custom applications and integrations, automating business processes, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable value to the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the continuous evolution of enterprise IT services.
This is you
Minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
Strong experience with JavaScript, XML, and HTML.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules, including:
Incident Management
Change Management
Problem Management
Request Management
CMDB
Knowledge Management
Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM); ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Foundation certification is preferred.
Experience troubleshooting complex software applications, integrations, and platform issues.
Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow workflows, custom applications, and automation solutions.
Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
Proficiency with:
ServiceNow Studio
Glide API
Flow Designer
ServiceNow Scripting
Experience with ServiceNow Orchestration and Integration Hub.
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid knowledge of ITSM data models, reporting, and data governance.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Self-motivated with a continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying current with ServiceNow best practices and emerging technologies.
This is your role
Monitor the health, performance, usage, and compliance of the ServiceNow platform.
Administer, maintain, and optimize ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
Develop, maintain, and enhance custom applications, workflows, and platform functionality.
Configure SLAs, catalog items, workflows, assignment rules, approval rules, forms, lists, UI Pages, and other platform components.
Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, and middleware technologies.
Develop automation solutions using ServiceNow Orchestration and Integration Hub.
Implement and enhance ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog Management, following ITIL best practices.
Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow data models, tables, reports, and dashboards while ensuring data integrity and governance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Coordinate ServiceNow platform and application upgrades.
Troubleshoot platform, integration, security, and application issues throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Perform system, integration, functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect resolution and validation.
Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and external systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, operational procedures, and user guides.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and support CI/CD pipeline initiatives for ServiceNow deployments.
Design, build, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications that support business objectives.
Enhance existing ITSM modules through process optimization and user interface improvements.
Work closely with IT, business partners, architects, and DevOps teams to continuously improve platform capabilities.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, project planning, sprint reviews, and ongoing delivery activities.
Provide technical support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for ServiceNow platform-related incidents.
Report project progress, technical risks, and solution recommendations to technical leadership and stakeholders.
Stay informed about new ServiceNow capabilities, industry trends, and emerging best practices to drive continuous platform improvement.
