You will work on complex distributed systems, help shape technical decisions, and collaborate closely with Web, Mobile, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving architectural challenges, building scalable cloud solutions, and independently driving initiatives.
This is you

Solid experience building and operating cloud-native, high-availability, multi-region solutions on AWS, including Amazon EKS and Kubernetes;
Deep expertise in event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka;
Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL), Clean Architecture, design patterns, and maintainable coding practices;
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with Web, Mobile, Product Owners, and other technical stakeholders;
Native Spanish and intermediate English.
Nice-to-have skills:
Experience in high-scale, high-transaction, or fintech environments, including legacy-system modernization and migration to cloud-native AWS architectures;
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices;
Knowledge of distributed-system observability, monitoring, logging, incident management, and engineering best practices such as code reviews and technical documentation;
Experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, or contributing to engineering standards.
This is your role
Lead the migration and deployment of backend systems into a highly available, multi-region AWS environment;
Design and evolve scalable Event-Driven Architecture solutions using Kafka;
Build and maintain reliable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript;
Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through Clean Architecture and engineering best practices;
Work closely with Web, Mobile, and Product teams to deliver effective technical solutions;
Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, technical planning, and production releases;
Identify technical risks and drive improvements across system performance, resilience, and reliability.
