This is you
Commercial experience in test automation and Quality Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js for test automation.
Experience with NestJS and testing applications/services built with Node.js/NestJS.
Experience designing and developing scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.
Strong hands-on experience with API and integration testing (REST/HTTP).
Understanding of API-driven architectures, integration patterns, and Tyk API Gateway.
Experience in automating end-to-end (E2E), integration, regression, functional, and API tests.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and implementing quality gates.
Experience testing microservices, distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise applications.
Proficiency with Git and modern software development and testing practices.
Nice-to-have skills:
Hands-on experience with Tyk API Gateway or similar API management/API gateway technologies.
AWS experience is preferred but not a hard requirement.
Experience with cloud-native and microservices architectures.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging is a plus.
Experience in the Telecommunications / Telco domain is a plus
This is your role
Develop reliable API, integration, end-to-end, functional, and regression automation for Node.js/NestJS-based services.
Create and maintain automated tests for microservices and distributed systems.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous quality practices.
Develop and execute automated tests around REST APIs, integrations, and API Gateway flows, including systems using Tyk.
Collaborate with developers, solution architects, QA engineers, and domain experts to define effective test strategies and automation approaches.
Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and continuously improve framework stability and test execution.
Promote shift-left testing, quality engineering, and risk-based automation practices.
Ensure automation solutions are maintainable, reusable, scalable, and aligned with the overall software architecture.
Contribute to the evolution of testing practices for cloud-native, microservices, and API-driven architectures.
Where applicable, support testing and automation activities in AWS/cloud environments.
Provide technical guidance and contribute to improving automation practices across the QA team.
