You will join a FinTech project focused on financial services, built around a modern, distributed architecture. The platform uses an event-sourcing and microservice-oriented approach, supporting scalable and reliable processing of financial data and business events.

This is you

• 10+ years of software development experience, with a strong focus on systems engineering.

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET.

• Proven experience designing and building APIs and backend services.

• Solid experience with distributed messaging systems and event-driven architectures.

• Hands-on experience with Pulsar, Kafka, or RabbitMQ, including event streaming and event sourcing patterns at scale.

• Experience implementing financial calculations, pricing engines, or quantitative models.

• Experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

• Familiarity with telemetry, monitoring, and observability tools such as Sentry, Datadog, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience building and scaling component libraries or design systems.

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions.

• Strong communication skills and proven experience collaborating across different teams and functions.

• Proactive ownership mindset, with end-to-end accountability for deliverables from technical design through production deployment.

• T-shaped and product-oriented mindset, with genuine curiosity and willingness to work across the technology stack to deliver complete, customer-facing features.

• Strong ability to independently navigate unfamiliar technologies, legacy codebases, and complex technical concepts.

• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, explain architectural trade-offs, mentor other engineers, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

• English — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with both Pulsar and Kafka or other distributed messaging platforms.

• Deep understanding of event sourcing, event streaming, replay strategies, and consumer group management.

• Experience designing and optimizing high-throughput distributed systems.

• Experience with MongoDB at scale.

• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and modern DevOps practices.

• Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Sentry, and Elasticsearch.

• Experience working across the full technology stack, including frontend or UI layers.

• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives across teams.

• Practical experience incorporating AI-assisted development into everyday engineering workflows.

This is your role

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable services using C#/.NET.

• Build and maintain ASP.NET server-side applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and long-term reliability.

• Design and implement APIs and backend components supporting customer-facing products.

• Work with distributed messaging frameworks and event-driven architectures to power high-throughput systems.

• Design, implement, and operate event streaming and event sourcing solutions using Pulsar, Kafka, or similar technologies.

• Work with topic design, consumer group management, event processing, and replay strategies.

• Develop and optimize data solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.

• Implement and maintain observability solutions using Datadog, Elasticsearch, Sentry, or equivalent tools.

• Establish telemetry, monitoring, logging, and diagnostics best practices across services.

• Implement and optimize financial calculations, pricing engines, or quantitative models where required.

• Build reusable, testable infrastructure and maintain consistent coding standards across teams.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver features and align on technical direction.

• Take end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables, from design and implementation through deployment and production support.

• Investigate unfamiliar technologies, legacy systems, and complex technical problems independently and identify effective solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.

• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar solutions to improve development productivity and code quality.
