Senior Product Owner

At the core of the role
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner with an entrepreneurial mindset who takes end-to-end ownership of a product and its outcomes. You will act as the link between business stakeholders, users and the development team, ensuring that product decisions deliver real business value.
You will be responsible for understanding business needs, shaping product direction, managing priorities and risks, and ensuring the product is delivered and operated effectively.
You will work on complex software supporting the configuration and quotation of industrial products, where product variants, pricing rules, technical requirements and integrations must work together reliably.
Core skills you’ll bring
Knowledge of software architecture, cloud systems and protocols ideally in the area of configuration and quotation software (CPQ: Configure, Price, Quote)
Ability to translate complex industrial requirements into software specifications, precise user stories, epics and acceptance criteria, identify gaps in requirements and considering possible edge cases
Experience in product management: data modelling & variant management, system architecture & integration expertise, pricing and costing logic, technical regulations & standards logic, product discovery etc.
Acting as a link between ‘Production’, ‘Sales’ and ‘IT’ departments
Ability to understand the working methods of the stakeholders involved in the customer journey
Ability to logically structure the vast physical product portfolio (variants, standards, country-specific rules) and break it down into small, comprehensible chunks (user stories) for the software developers
Knowledge of the SDLC and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, MS Office
The impact you'll create
Take genuine ownership of the product from a business perspective, championing the product vision and evaluating development outcomes against it
Ensure day-to-day operation of the product, including incident management and internal SLA compliance
Structure a vast physical product portfolio (variants, standards, country-specific rules) into clear, actionable user stories for the development team
Present arguments, roadmap and vision effectively to senior stakeholders, driving alignment and buy-in
