Senior PHP Engineer (Drupal)

At the core of the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Engineer with Drupal. Our client is a global platform for market engagement and digital innovation.

As a Senior PHP Engineer you will take part in setting standards, establishing guidelines and sharing best practices in order to ensure continuous learning and development.


Core skills you’ll bring

  • 6+ years of experience as a PHP Engineer

  • Strong experience with Drupal 11 and Drupal Core, including contributed and custom modules

  • Strong understanding of performance optimization, software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes

  • Hands-on experience with multi-site architecture

  • Familiarity with web application development, as well as solution architecture and design

  • Solid knowledge of web development best practices, including code quality, maintainability, security, and scalability

  • English — Upper-Intermediate level

Nice-to-have

  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and their practical application in software development, code generation, debugging, documentation, and development workflow optimization

The impact you'll create

  • Design, develop, and enhance scalable and high-performing solutions using Drupal 11

  • Develop, maintain, and extend core, contributed, and custom Drupal modules to meet business and technical requirements

  • Contribute to application architecture decisions and support the design of innovative and efficient solutions

  • Optimize web applications for performance, reliability, and scalability

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Support backlog refinement and planning

  • Maintain technical documentation

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
