Senior Java Engineer

At the core of the role

We are looking for Senior Java Engineers to join a long-term project for one of our existing clients. You will focus on back-end development and take part in DevOps activities, building and improving enterprise solutions on WebSphere and Business Automation Workflow (BAW).

You will work closely with the team and the client to clarify technical requirements, contribute to PoC and discovery tasks, and turn solid ideas into reliable, production-ready solutions.

Core skills you’ll bring

  • Strong commercial experience with Java at a senior level.

  • Hands-on experience with JPA.

  • Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP web services.

  • Solid knowledge of SQL.

  • English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Nice-to-have

  • BAW / Mediation Flow development and configuration.

  • WebSphere automation scripting.

  • Experience with Oracle DB.

  • Experience with Maven and Gradle.

  • WebSphere installation and configuration experience (Jython).

  • AWS experience.

The impact you'll create

  • Design and develop back-end solutions using Java, JPA, and SQL (Oracle).

  • Develop and configure business processes and mediation flows in BAW.

  • Automate build and deployment processes and write scripts (Maven, Ant, Jython, Python, Service Deploy, WS Admin).

  • Manage configuration and support network and database integration.

  • Take part in PoC and discovery tasks.

  • Clarify technical requirements with the team and the client.
