Senior Infrastructure Engineer

At the core of the role

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a project focused on high-performance computing, hybrid cloud environments, AI infrastructure and datacenter operations. You will work across Linux systems, server hardware, high-speed networking and enterprise storage, ensuring the reliability and performance of large-scale HPC clusters and AI infrastructure. The role combines hands-on datacenter operations with advanced troubleshooting, scripting and automation to maintain and optimize complex infrastructure environments.


Core skills you’ll bring

  • 4+ years of experience in Linux system administration, command-line operations, log analysis and troubleshooting.

  • 4+ years of experience in datacenter hardware operations, diagnostics, component replacement and rack installation.

  • Experience managing server hardware through Redfish APIs and IPMI.

  • 2+ years of experience with high-speed networking technologies, including Ethernet, HPE Slingshot and InfiniBand.

  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging and root cause analysis skills.

  • Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting and automation.

  • Experience with HPC clusters and large-scale AI infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS, parallel file systems and object storage.

  • Experience with Git version control and repository management.

  • Familiarity with incident and change management processes, technical documentation and infrastructure schematics.

The impact you'll create

  • Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems across HPC and hybrid cloud environments.

  • Monitor server health, performance, firmware and hardware components using Redfish APIs and IPMI.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues involving power, thermal management, storage and networking.

  • Perform hands-on datacenter operations, including hardware component replacements, rack installations, decommissioning and cabling.

  • Configure, monitor and troubleshoot high-speed networking technologies and HPC network fabrics.

  • Investigate complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to improve system reliability.

  • Support the operation, maintenance and optimization of HPC clusters and large-scale AI infrastructure.

  • Deploy, configure, monitor and troubleshoot enterprise storage systems, including SAN/NAS, parallel file systems and object storage.

  • Develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.

  • Use Git to manage scripts, configuration files and technical documentation.

  • Follow established incident and change management procedures, maintaining accurate technical records and infrastructure documentation.
