We are currently seeking a skilled DWH Engineer to join our local team in Prague. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse solutions that transform raw data into meaningful business insights. You will collaborate closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs, design data flows, and ensure the delivery of accurate, high-quality data.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, solution-focused professional who is eager to take ownership of complex data processes within a collaborative team environment. Onsite presence in Prague at least 4 days per week is required.

• You have a solid understanding of the banking environment.
• You’re experienced in Data Management and have a background in building data warehouses and BI solutions.
  
• You have a strong command of SQL; knowledge of additional languages such as Python, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or Spark SQL is a plus.
  
• You are skilled in designing data transformations (ETL) and managing data orchestrations (workflows).
  
• You have hands-on experience with data modeling and are comfortable using tools like PowerDesigner.
  
• You possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the determination to overcome challenges.
  
• You’re familiar with a broader range of data technologies beyond those listed—our scope spans across various platforms and tools.
  
• You actively follow trends in Data Management, including cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
  
• You communicate confidently in English and are a native speaker of Czech or Slovak.
  
• You are a clear communicator and comfortable engaging in dialogue with clients and stakeholders.
  

This is your role

• Analyze data and technical requirements to design effective solutions
• Design and develop data warehouses and data lakehouses on platforms such as Oracle DB, Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata, Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake or Databricks
• Create, test, and maintain data models, data transformation processes, and data workflows
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
• Provide ongoing support and optimization for data solutions
