In New York, USA within the Managed Services, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team dedicated to Technical Support.
The job requires working onsite 5 days per week, Monday till Friday, at the client's premises in New York's office.
This is you
- Experience in working as helpdesk or support specialists
- Experience in Windows and Linux system support and maintenance
- Troubleshooting skills in a multi-user environment
- Base knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange
- Base knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP, Firewall/VLAN configuration, NAT/Hardware-Based load balancing, encryption, and network security best practices
- Knowledge of Internet network concepts, protocols and associated services (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, SCP, DNS)
- Experience using monitoring tools
- Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
Nice-to-have skills:
- Ability to prioritize assignments, handles shifting deadlines, multitasking, and work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, to independently assess risk, and to make critical decisions.
This is your role
- Support and maintain end-user computing infrastructure including, but not
limited to, desktop PC’s, laptop PC’s, monitors, headsets, keyboards, mice, webcams. - Design, implement and maintain standardized desktop configurations.
- Ensure consistency in operating systems, software applications, and security settings for optimized desktop performance and security.
- Plan, execute, and support desktop deployments while managing the entire desktop lifecycle.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance of printers including replacing paper and toner, and coordinate with Network and Systems engineers to support network printing.
- Maintain stock levels of IT equipment.
- Support and troubleshoot user issues with the SAP Graphical User Interface (GUI).
- Coordinate with external IT service providers to troubleshoot outages and escort personnel throughout client's premises. Provide Smart Hands & Eyes support for other IT and organizational pillars as needed.
