We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer Designer/Draftsman with drafting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with design, engineering, manufacturing, lab, quality, and production teams to produce comprehensive document packages for finished products, packaging, assemblies, components, and fixtures. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple drafting tasks, support both mechanical and electrical design layouts, and respond effectively to daily requests for technical documentation.

This is you

• 2+ years of drafting experience;
• 2-year associate degree or completion of a trade school program in CAD applications;
• Specific training in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is required;
• Working knowledge of storage architecture and web-hosted applications;
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills;
• Self-motivated, flexible, and effective team player;
  
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently;
  
• Capable of performing under a heavy workload and meeting tight deadlines;
• English: Upper-intermediate or higher.

Nice-to-have skills:

• SolidWorks experience, including SolidWorks system administration;
• JDE (JD Edwards) experience.

This is your role

• Revise and create technical drawings for products, assemblies, and fixtures;
  
• Provide drafting support for mechanical and electrical design layouts for both new and revised products;
  
• Generate detailed and accurate drawings based on engineering specifications;
  
• Respond promptly to daily requests for drawings, diagrams, and supporting documents;
  
• Ensure all work complies with established safety procedures;
  
• Collaborate with engineers, lab technicians, and production teams to ensure documentation accuracy;
  
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
