• 15 years experience on large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
• 15 years experience in deployment and release management
• 10+ years experience in DevOps container and/or serverless orchestration tools
• 10+ years experience in Agile methodology
• 10+ years experience with: JIRA, Git, Jenkins
• 10+ years experience with Confluence
• 5+ years experience in multi-cloud architecture
• 5+ years experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• 5+ years experience with SonarQube
• 5+ years experience with the monitoring tool Nagios
• 5+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OVH)
• 5+ years experience with blockchain based infrastructure
• Experience with large, enterprise-level multi-user Information Systems
• Good knowledge of establishing and managing deployment pipeline and release management
• Good knowledge of DevOps container or serverless /orchestration tools
• Good knowledge of cloud security architecture and security requirements
• Good knowledge of continuous delivery and Application Lifecycle Management tools (JIRA, Git, Bamboo, Nexus, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus etc.)
• Rapid self-starting capabilities and experience with team working
• The capability of integrating in an international/multicultural environment

• At least one of the following certifications: Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
• The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification.

This is your role

• Meet the DPP stakeholders to collect the infrastructure requirements (functional and non-functional)
• Create designs and blueprints of cloud architecture, prioritising the components that will bring the most benefits for the Digital Product Passport project
• Advise on the most appropriate cloud services, ranking them and emphasizing advantages and disadvantages of each
• Design and develop architecture components and building blocks using cloud components
• Proof of Concept, prototyping of infrastructure solutions, including the use of cloud-native services and features
• Participate in coordination and project meetings
• Provide expert technical assistance on the managed cloud service providers and their services: technical guidance, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, monitoring
• Ensure that the cloud architecture comply with security best practices, including the ones of the Commission
• Bring specific expertise in many cloud services providers and the full range of services they deliver, with strong experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining projects in those environments
• Ensure that the cloud architecture is implemented at the expected levels of security, performance, reliability and availability
• Investigate and solve complex infrastructure cloud related issues
• Ensure that the documentation is always up to date
• Define a deployment strategy, make sure that the changes are properly tested before deployment and that the roll-outs happen without negative impacts
• Validate the release plans and communication making sure that stakeholders are aware of the changes to come, what is expected of them, and how the changes impact them
• Ensure a continuous improvement approach, implementing feedback loops to iterate
