Avenga is looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner to join our team full-time. Our client is a leading multi-national lottery operator with a market-leading presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy. They build better lotteries that return more to good causes by focusing on innovation, technology, efficiency, and safety across a growing casual gaming entertainment portfolio. The client’s purpose is to make play better for all and their mission is to be a trusted and proactive guardian of all that is good in lotteries and casual gaming entertainment.

As a Senior Business analyst/ Product Owner will drive strategic business initiatives by analyzing complex business processes, eliciting requirements, and translating them into actionable solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate change, optimize processes, and ensure our business solutions meet both operational and strategic goals.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience on BA/Product related positions
  
• 2 years of working on software development projects in an agile requirements analysis role
• Competent in Jira / Confluence
• Proficient user of BPM
• Experience in the Betting Industry
• Experience in working on multiple and varied large-scale projects, delivering a variety of software applications
• Talented at interacting with multiple stakeholders including C level
• Experience in working on multiple and varied large-scale projects, delivering a variety of software applications
• Solid knowledge in software architectures and processes related to software delivery
• Successful practical experience in establishing and complying to the change management process
• Proven ability to work within teams using a variety of software development methods, including product development using agile software delivery methods
• Confident in designing solutions/ business processes/ operating models

This is your role

• Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals
• Lead product development cycles and sprint planning, prioritizing backlog items effectively
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories
• Create data flow and context diagrams to visualize system interactions and architecture
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity and delivery of business value
• Act as the product ambassador and main technical contact for product-related inquiries
• Provide clear specifications and documentation for the development team
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
