Avenga is looking for an experienced .NET Engineer to join our team. Our client is a leading platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry, by helping customers deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences.

As a Senior .NET engineer you will design and architect robust and scalable .NET-based systems, ensuring alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.

This is you:

• 5+ years of professional experience in modern C# and .NET ecosystem.
  
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Dapper, Polly, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  
• Experience designing and maintaining public APIs or libraries.
  
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
  
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Sumo Logic, or similar).
  
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  
• Experience with Kafka, message queues (AWS SQS), and distributed service communications.
  
• Working knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  
• Background in supporting production system
• Solid knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Dapper, Polly, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with F#.

This is your role:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services and APIs using C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core.
  
• Build and optimize database solutions leveraging SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  
• Design and maintain public APIs or libraries with strict versioning and backward compatibility requirements.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable cloud-native solutions (with AWS as the preferred cloud platform).
  
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using modern tools such as GitHub Actions, TeamCity, and Octopus.
  
• Ensure system reliability and performance by integrating monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, and Sumo Logic.
  
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  
• Work with distributed communication technologies like Kafka and AWS SQS.
  
• Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
  
• Provide operational support for production systems, ensuring stability, reliability, and scalability.
