In Argentina within the fintech industry, we are actively seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining applications with Spring Boot, Microservices, REST/SOAP services, and Kafka, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.

You will be part of a collaborative and agile team of developers, architects, and analysts, working together across the full software development lifecycle. The team is committed to innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions.

This is you

Minimum 4 years of experience in Java application development.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot (2.x and above), Spring Web, Spring Data, Spring Security.

Proficiency with REST, SOAP, and Microservices architectures.

Experience with Kafka and Message Queues (MQ).

Solid knowledge of Maven and Git, with excellent branching management (hotfixes, evolutive developments).

Experience maintaining production applications, fixing bugs, and implementing new features.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work closely with other developers.

Experience with Mongo Client.

Familiarity with UI design and performance optimization.

Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and ability to identify improvement opportunities.

• Experience in promoting technological innovation and sharing learnings to evolve the technology stack.

This is your role

• Understand software requirements and translate them into detailed designs.
  
• Develop, adapt, and integrate classes, modules, and components, reusing existing code where possible.
  
• Verify programs through unit testing and participate in code reviews.
  
• Document solutions according to standards (functional, architectural, and in-code).
  
• Research new technologies and propose improvements to processes and solutions.
  
• Deliver across the entire application lifecycle: concept, design, development, implementation, testing, and support.
  
• Maintain and optimize production applications, ensuring performance and scalability.
  
• Participate in defining and reviewing development standards and practices.
  
• Collaborate closely with peers to build elegant, functional, and innovative solutions.
