We are seeking a Senior Ruby Engineer to take full ownership of the backend development within the EMS project.

This is you

• 5+ years of experience as a Ruby Engineer with deep expertise in Ruby on Rails development;
  
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles;
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development, preferably with RSpec or similar tools;
  
• Proficient in working with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL;
  
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as Cognito, Lambda, and S3;
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for end-to-end delivery of backend features;
  
• Prior experience in a product support phase, including bug fixing and incremental feature development, is a plus;
• English — Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience integrating third-party CRM/marketing tools such as HubSpot;
• Familiarity with background job processing tools like Sidekiq.

This is your role

• Design, develop, and maintain the core backend REST API built on Ruby on Rails;
  
• Deliver clean, scalable, and well-tested code using RSpec;
  
• Collaborate directly with client-side management to clarify technical and product requirements, translating them into technical solutions;
  
• Work closely with Android, iOS, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure consistent functionality and integration across services;
  
• Participate actively in bug fixing, system maintenance, and new feature development;
  
• Manage deployment and operations in cloud environments;
  
• Optimize database interactions and manage PostgreSQL schema design;
  
• Mentor and provide technical guidance for other developers when needed.
