We are looking for a Team Lead/Senior AQA Engineer to join our team and drive quality assurance practices for a revenue forecasting and billing platform built on Oracle APEX. The platform automates critical operational workflows such as resource allocation, project assignments, time reporting, billing, and revenue forecasting. By ensuring accurate financial projections and seamless data exchange with enterprise systems, the platform reduces manual effort and improves data consistency across operations.
This is you
- Strong experience in test automation with TypeScript and Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing for complex enterprise systems.
- Proven track record of leading QA teams (across multiple pods, ideally in distributed setups – India/LatAm).
- In-depth knowledge of Agile principles, implementation, and leadership.
- Experience in defining and implementing QA best practices within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to review and validate user stories for completeness of requirements.
- Skills in decomposing user stories into test scenarios and supporting effort estimations in story points.
- Strong people skills: communication, dependability, teamwork, autonomy, empowerment, empathy, leadership, and conflict resolution.
- Upper-intermediate English or higher.
Nice-to-have skills
- Experience with performance testing and leading performance-focused QEs.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource management systems or financial platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and QA process automation at scale.
This is your role
- Lead a QE sub-team of Manual QEs and AQEs (including performance tester) across 2–3 pods (4–5 engineers total) in international distributed teams (LatAm, India, and others).
- Contribute to testing activities directly (this is not a purely managerial position).
- Drive process improvements in Agile adoption and ensure alignment with product goals.
- Estimate requirements and provide effort estimations in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
- Track the progress of QE teams and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Review user stories, define acceptance criteria, and decompose them into actionable test scenarios.
- Develop, maintain, and improve automation scripts and frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Foster a culture of quality ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
