We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Big Data technologies, distributed systems, and financial data processing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in payment transactions for major banks, strong technical analysis skills, and the ability to work independently within interdisciplinary, agile teams.

This is you

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or BI.
  
• Proven expertise in payment transactions and financial data mapping.
• Experience in FinTech or Banking domains.
  
• Excellent knowledge of distributed systems architecture, Hadoop, Big Data frameworks.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Spark, Scala, and SQL.
  
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes, cloud technologies, and UC4 automation tools.
  
• Demonstrated testing experience in data-driven environments.
  
• Ability to work independently and assertively, managing tasks with minimal supervision.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

This is your role

• Lead and contribute to projects in Data Management, Data Mapping, and Analytics.
• Perform advanced technical analysis in payment transactions and financial data processing.
  
• Work with payment transactions for major bank, particularly with regard to data mapping.
• Design, implement, and optimize distributed data systems.
  
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Scala, and SQL.
  
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments (UC4), and cloud-based solutions.
  
• Conduct testing and ensure the quality and accuracy of data solutions.
  
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.
  
• Independently manage assigned responsibilities and provide status reports and final reports.
  
• Drive productivity and ensure delivery of high-quality results in agile team setups.
