We’re looking for a Senior SAP Engineer with strong expertise in SAP IS-U and utilities market processes to join a long-term project in the Czech energy sector.

You’ll be working on designing, implementing, and supporting custom solutions in SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI, replacing standard SAP modules with tailored integrations, and ensuring smooth data exchange with market partners (grid operators, suppliers, regulators).

This is you

• 5+ years of experience in SAP integration (SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI).
• Deep understanding of SAP IS-U processes: metering, billing, EDM, market communication.
  
• Hands-on experience with IDoc, EDI/EDIFACT (UTILMD, MSCONS, INVOIC), XML, SOAP, REST.
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end integration solutions, including replacing standard SAP modules with custom approaches.
  
• Strong problem-solving and design thinking mindset; able to guide decisions across business and technical teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
• English – Upper-intermediate or higher.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Czech language.
• Knowledge of utilities market operations in the Czech/EU energy sector.

This is your role

• Configure and support integrations in SAP PI/PO or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Design, implement, and optimize integration flows between SAP and external systems.
  
• Manage complex data exchange with utility partners (grid operators, suppliers, regulators).
  
• Ensure compliance with Czech and EU market communication standards.
  
• Work on end-to-end utilities processes, facilitating smooth and secure data exchange (IDoc, EDI/EDIFACT, XML, SOAP, REST).
  
• Provide technical leadership and consulting within the project team, ensuring best practices are applied.
  
• Actively collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams, bridging requirements into effective technical solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain the core SAP IS-U integration landscape.
