We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications built on Node.js, leveraging cloud-native architectures and event-driven designs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions while following best practices in software design, testing, and DevOps.

This is you

• Location: Residence in Argentina, prioritizing Buenos Aires or Córdoba to facilitate occasional in-person meetings.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in backend development with Node.js.
• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with Serverless Framework or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Strong skills in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and iterative development.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge, and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript.

Nice-to-have skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools in distributed systems.
• Previous experience in serverless-first architectures.

This is your role

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Implement serverless solutions leveraging AWS services and event-driven patterns.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with external and internal systems.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through testing and best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments and manage cloud environments.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing technical insight and innovation.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and advocate for clean, modern engineering standards.
