In Latin America within the industrial industry, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Ecommerce development team. This professional will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and continuous delivery pipelines in AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

You’ll be joining a cross-functional team that collaborates closely with development, QA, and architecture areas to build a high-performing ecommerce platform. The team promotes autonomy, technical excellence, and a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is you

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience managing services on AWS, including Lambda, RDS, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, SES, IAM, S3, EC2, ECS, Secret Manager, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, CloudFront, CloudWatch, API Gateway, WAF, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Redis, Route53, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation (mandatory).
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working with GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with SonarCloud for static code analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and Node.js for operational automation and scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL and transactional database management.
• Strong communication skills, self-management, and proactive problem-solving.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience deploying offline mobile applications.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and embedded databases.
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization practices.

This is your role

• Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines (CI/CD).
  
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes.
  
• Manage and optimize AWS cloud services to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  
• Monitor and enhance system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  
• Support and guide teams in infrastructure decisions and automation improvements.
