We are looking for a Middle Java Engineer to join an innovative Argentinian banking team evolving with a mission to simplify and redefine banking experiences. This role offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment that values diversity, curiosity, and the latest technologies. As part of the integrated bank team, you will focus on backlog development and contribute to building high-quality microservices.

This is you

• 3+ years of experience developing in Java and the Spring framework;
• Strong skills in Lambda expressions and Java Streams API;
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL databases;
• Proficiency with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito;
• Understanding of asynchronous messaging with Azure ServiceBus and Producer-Consumer;
• Experience deploying microservices on Azure;
• Log monitoring experience with Kibana;
• Fluent in Spanish and Intermediate level in English.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Familiarity with Redis caching technology;
• Ability to occasionally visit a client's office in Buenos Aires, CABA.

This is your role

• Develop and maintain backend services with Java 11 and 17 using the Spring framework;
• Implement asynchronous microservices using Azure ServiceBus and the Producer-Consumer pattern;
• Design and optimize data interactions with NoSQL and SQL databases;
• Apply Aspect-Oriented Programming principles in service development;
• Write unit tests with JUnit and Mockito to ensure software reliability;
• Deploy microservices on Azure in test and production environments;
• Use Kibana for log monitoring and error detection;
• Collaborate in an agile team environment to deliver continuous improvements.
